Aetna Health Insurance - Health Insurance

ABC, Aetna, President Obama and Us Daily Kos

Everyone in that room agreed that health care reform was needed. Then everyone proceeded to dramatically engage the leader of the government on how he intends to reform it. How special.

Everyone except the EMT, demanded answers that protected their interests. No one stepped up and said they were part of the problem and offered solutions or compromises from their end of the spectrum.

The audience implied or outright stated that government involvement is "bad", but then asked for government involvement to make it "good" as long as it did not take away some of their income. That contradicts itself.

And the enemy was in the room: The Aetna CEO! To ABC's credit they did direct one question, albeit lame to the health care devil himself. Diane Sawyer asked the Aetna CEO if he were, and I am praphrasing from memory: "Are you playing fair, or cheating?"

WTF? Of course he is cheating that is why we were in the room and watching the meeting from home, they all acknowledged it when they raised their hands at the beginning.
